Friulane, or furlane, or ‘scarpets’ are traditional Veneto shoes handmade in Italy that stand out for their comfort, elegance and versatility. This model of ancient origin is made of soft and luxurious deep blue velvet with a special and innovative stain and water repellent treatment, a matching grosgrain border, natural cotton lining and insole, and a stitched rubber sole. Women's blue velvet Friulanes are a model to be worn on any occasion and in any season, either with socks or barefoot. Chic and at the same time informal, they can be worn during the day with a natural linen Bermuda shorts and a light blue striped shirt or in the evening with a long satin dress in bright colours.
